Jaipur, August 29 (HS). The Rajasthan High Court, while hearing a petition filed against the acceptance of the FR presented by the ACB by the Special Court in the disproportionate assets case registered against an IT department officer, has summoned the DG of ACB and the investigating officer on September 6. A single bench of Justice Ashok Kumar Jain gave this order while hearing the revision petition of TN Sharma.
In the petition, advocate PC Bhandari told the court that the petitioner had lodged a complaint with the ACB in December 2019 against the then Deputy Director of the IT Department, Kuldeep Yadav. In which it was said that after being appointed in the year 2013, Yadav has acquired property worth crores of rupees. The ACB registered a complaint and raided Yadav's house. The petition said that the ACB investigation revealed that Kuldeep Yadav deposited crores of rupees in his wife's accounts and acquired immense wealth. The petition alleged that the ACB, in collusion, admitted in the investigation that Kuldeep Yadav's wife was gifted about Rs 90 lakh by her father and presented the FR in the court. Which was accepted by the ACB court. This order was challenged in the High Court on behalf of the petitioner. Hearing on which, the single bench has summoned the DG and investigating officer of ACB.
