Kanpur, 30 September (HIST). After lunch on the fourth day of the ongoing second Test match at Green Park here, Bangladesh's first innings was reduced to 233 runs. Mominul Haq played an unbeaten century and scored 107 runs.

After three days, this morning the Sun God was finally seen in Kanpur. Bangladesh started playing ahead with its score of 107 runs for 3 wickets. Although the Bangladeshi team was able to add only 5 runs to its score, then Bumrah gave India the fourth success by bowling Mushfiqur Rahim (11). After this, at the score of 148, Rohit Sharma took an excellent catch on Siraj's ball and dismissed Liton Das. Liton scored 13 runs. Even the experienced Shakib could not do anything special and became the victim of Ashwin after scoring only 9 runs.

Mominul completed his century amidst wickets falling at regular intervals. On the total score of 224, Bumrah sent Mehdi Hasan Miraj (20) to the pavilion. After this, the remaining 3 wickets of Bangladesh fell for 9 runs and the entire team was reduced to 233 runs. Mominul returned unbeaten after scoring 107 runs.

For India, Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammad Siraj and Akash Deep took 2 wickets each and Ravindra Jadeja took 1 wicket.
