Kishanganj, 20 August (HS). Necessary efforts are being made at various levels to ensure the operation of Sadar Hospital in accordance with the National Quality Assurance Standards. Necessary preparations are being finalized at every level regarding this. So that application for certification can be made soon. Regarding this, continuous review and evaluation of the personnel of the Labor Room and SNCU located in Sadar Hospital is going on continuously. Many programs are being conducted by the government with the aim of improving government hospitals and qualitative improvement in the available medical services. Under the National Quality Assurance Standards (ANQAS) program, better efforts are being made by the Health Department to get the NAQAS certification for the system there while providing better medical assistance to the people in the Sadar Hospital of the district. For this, as per the guidelines of District Magistrate Tushar Singla and Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajesh Kumar, the health officials are auditing the facilities available in the health centers and removing the identified deficiencies.

For this, Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Anwar Hussain is constantly inspecting all the health standards and checking the quality assurance standards available for the patients there. For this, on Tuesday, Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent reviewed with the officials and as per the analysis, facilities have been expanded at the health centers.

He informed that for ensuring successful implementation of NQAS certification in Sadar Hospital, various facilities available in the institutions are examined under various programs. In this, monitoring done by the state and central team is very important. In this, prior preparation is necessary for better performance. So that better marks can be obtained in the evaluation process. Regarding this, special emphasis is being laid on the internal evaluation process of health institutions. So that the existing deficiencies can be identified and removed in time. Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that after the target certification of Sadar Hospital, emphasis is being laid on the national certification of NQAS. A review meeting has been held on 09 standards including SNCU, NRC, PIPU, Blood Bank, Laboratory Service, General Administration and Auxiliary Service Maternity.

Sadar Hospital has been continuously performing better in Lakshya and Kayakalp. Now it will also meet the standards of National Quality Assurance Standard (NCAS). Preparations are going on in full swing for this. What kind of preparations are to be made in Sadar Hospital to meet the standards of NCAS. A weekly review meeting was held regarding this. He told that what else can be improved in the facilities available to the patients in the hospital, admin, OT, labor room etc. He told that many things are fine in Sadar Hospital. Here patients are getting better facilities. However, despite this, there is some scope for improvement, on which work is being done continuously. OPD, OT, Labor Room etc. are already working better. Its result has also come out. The most complex diseases are being treated here. The patients of the district do not have to go outside nor do they have to knock the doors of private hospitals.

Facilities like Caesarean, X-ray, dialysis for kidney patients are available here. People of the nearby districts are also taking advantage of these facilities. I hope that soon Sadar Hospital will also meet the standards of NCAS and patients coming here for treatment will get better facilities. Prenatal checkup of pregnant women, necessary vaccinations for pregnant women and their availability will be understood. Permanent and temporary means of family planning including Antara injection given to the beneficiary. Taking information about the maintenance and distribution of medicines, checking the maintenance register, vaccine carrier for vaccination and general administration including the slip given to the patients in the general clinic is to be inspected for which all the departments are being prepared.
