He told that on the day of the incident, the former principal of the college had called him.

As for the deceased doctor's father, Dr Sandip Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, we could not speak to him. On the day of the incident, he called us but the students told us not to go. He came there (to the spot) but did not talk to us.
Family spoke on CBI investigation
On the Kolkata High Court's order for a CBI probe, he said that the CBI is one of the ten biggest agencies. But after handling the case in 10 days, they have not yet given any good result. We demand quick action and strict punishment.
When asked if he would approach the Supreme Court regarding the irregularities in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, he said that if needed, he would approach the Supreme Court. We have not taken any decision yet.
The former principal will undergo a polygraph test
CBI can now conduct polygraph test of 5 people including former principal of RG Kar Medical College Dr. Sandeep Ghosh. This includes 4 doctors with whom the victim doctor had lunch on the day of the incident before his death and a support staff. Apart from this, the Kolkata High Court has also handed over the investigation of financial irregularities against Dr. Sandeep Ghosh to the CBI. Which was earlier being done by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The court has directed the CBI to submit a report on the progress made so far in the investigation by September 17.
The court has sent the accused Sanjay Roy to 14 days of custody. Earlier on Tuesday, the Supreme Court, while taking suo motu cognizance of the case related to the rape and murder of a doctor, had ordered to hand over the security of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital to the CRPF. After the Supreme Court's order, CRPF personnel have been deployed to increase the security of the Kolkata hospital.
