Vinesh Phogat Records: The dream of Vinesh Phogat, who raised the hopes of gold for India and the whole country in Olympics 2024, has come true. After Vinesh Phogat was disqualified from the Olympics due to being just 100 grams overweight, now a personal decision of Phogat has shocked everyone. Vinesh Phogat has announced her retirement through a post on social media. Vinesh Phogat may not have won a medal in these Olympics, but she has achieved many achievements in her career and has made a special place in the heart of every Indian, which is why only one word is being spoken for Vinesh for the last 24 hours – 'Khoob Ladi Mardani'.

In an emotional post on social media, Vinesh Phogat said, “I lost, I won wrestling; forgive me, your dream, my courage, everything is broken. Now I have no more strength left. Goodbye wrestling 2001-2024. I will always be indebted to all of you. Apologize.”

Vinesh Phogat may have announced her retirement from wrestling, but she has a record in her name which will not be easy for any woman to make. Vinesh has participated in three consecutive Olympics. She is the first Indian female wrestler to play in three consecutive Olympics.

Vinesh has been a part of Rio, Tokyo and Paris Olympics. However, the sad thing is that she did not get a medal in any of the Olympics. She got injured during the Rio Olympics, due to which she had to leave the match midway.

Even though Vinesh has not won any medal in the Olympics, she has performed brilliantly in events like Asian Games, Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Vinesh won medals in the 2014, 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games and made the country proud.

Vinesh Phogat also became the Asian champion in 2018. She won the gold medal in the 50 kg event. She has won bronze medals twice in the World Championships. Phogat won these medals in 2019 and 2022. The niece of legendary Mahavir Phogat started her career with the Youth Wrestling Championship in 2013. Apart from this, Vinesh also won a silver medal in her first competition.
