Retired employees submitted memorandum in the name of India Alliance candidate Kumari Selja |Live Updates,Unveiling the Latest India News Trends

Fatehabad, 18 May (HS). An important meeting of Retired Employees Union, Haryana District Fatehabad was held on Saturday at Patwar Bhawan under the chairmanship of District Head Dharampal Yadav. Retired employees from across the district participated in the meeting. After this, the delegation of the Retired Employees Union gave a memorandum to former MLA Balwan Singh Daulatpuriya in the name of India Alliance candidate Kumari Selja and informed him about the demands of the retired employees.

Addressing the meeting, District Head Dharampal Yadav said that retired employees have been agitating for their demands for a long time. Retired employees are demanding that all types of retired employees should increase their basic pension by 5-10-15 percent on completion of 65-70-75 years of service, which is being implemented in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Recovery of pension commutation should be done in 12 years instead of 15 years. The National Pension Scheme should be canceled and the employees who joined service after January 1, 2006 should be included in the old pension policy. Payment of medical allowance and reimbursement of medical bills to the retiring NPS employees should be ensured. Employees retiring on June 30 should also be given the benefit of salary increase. Medical allowance should be given at Rs 3000 per month instead of Rs 1000.

Family pensioners should also be given the benefit of LTC facility. Apart from this, they have demanded payment of 18 months' arrears of the Corona period, cashless medical facility to retired employees, arrangement of education and health for all at government expense, withdrawal of National Education Policy 2020, Road Transport Bill 2019, Electricity Amendment Bill 2023 and expansion of regular employment by dissolving Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, repeal of all four Labor Codes, Property Compensation Act, laws, ban on privatization in public and public service departments. Many employees including Master Ramkumar Sharma, Master Omprakash Choubara, Krishna Mehra, Rajkumar Hadoli, Bhola Singh, Balbir Singh Mahmada, Joginder Singh, Pawan Sharma, Harkishan Lal Kamboj, Dilip Singh Patwari etc. were present in the meeting.
