The birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri was celebrated with reverence and enthusiasm in the district on Wednesday. Ramdhuni was held in the Gandhi Park of the city and a tribute program was organized in the Gandhi Udyan of the Collectorate. In the program people took a pledge to adopt Bapu's teachings and principles. In the program organized at the city's Gandhi Park, District Collector Shrinidhi BT, Dholpur MLA Shobharani Kushwaha, Municipal Council Chairman Khushboo Singh, BJP District President Satyendra Parashar, BJP leaders Neerja and Dr. Shivcharan Singh Kushwaha and others garlanded the statues of Gandhi and Shastri.
