Kishanganj, 01 August (HS). Kishanganj police has become serious about settling land dispute cases. Cases of land dispute keep coming up in Janta Darbar every day. In the presence of District Magistrate Tushar Singla, SP Sagar Kumar had also held a meeting with all the police station in-charges through video conferencing recently, in which information about land related disputes was taken station wise. The police station in-charge was instructed to take such cases seriously. Land related cases were reviewed station wise.
While giving instructions to all the police station incharges, the SP said that in the Janta Darbar organized in the presence of CO in the police station every Saturday, settle as many cases as possible. Try to settle the matter by reconciliation. It has been seen in many cases that sometimes law and order problems arise due to land disputes. Therefore, necessary action will be taken immediately in such cases. Necessary guidelines were also given regarding the execution of pending cases on the Bhoo-Samadhan portal. Note that almost every day, land disputes lead to fights. Disputes arise from both sides.
