Resident doctors took out a candle march demanding justice | News India

New Delhi, 04 September (HS). The demand for justice and protest over the rape-murder case of a junior doctor at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital is not stopping. On Wednesday evening, resident doctors of East Delhi's University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital took out a candle march and formed a human chain.

Resident doctors said that today we are demanding justice for our colleague and sister by taking out a candle march. He said that today doctors across India are protesting by taking out candle marches. Tomorrow there is a hearing of this case in the Supreme Court, we hope that the Supreme Court will give justice to our sister. The big culprits in this whole case should get the harshest punishment.

Resident Doctors Association President Dr Rajat Sharma, Vice Presidents Dr Parth Mishra and Dr Nischal Yathgiri, General Secretary Dr Samidha Kushwaha and Dr Basant Jindal along with resident doctors of University College of Medical Sciences and Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital participated in large numbers in the candle march which started from Gate No. 6 of GTB Hospital to the residential complex of the hospital. A human chain was also organised during this.

During this, the doctors said that this event is not just a march but a collective roar, which shows our commitment to bring the culprits of the RJ Kar Hospital incident to justice. We all stand in unwavering solidarity towards justice through this silent roar.
