Lucknow, 30 September (HS). 83rd CSIR Foundation Day Celebration was organized by CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute, Lucknow. Two herbal technologies were transferred by CSIR-NBRI on this occasion. These include Chroma-3: bioavailable curcumin and Shiv Bhabhoot. These were transferred to M/s Coromandel International Limited, Secunderabad and M/s Kemol Organisations, New Delhi respectively. Chroma-3: Bioavailable Curcumin is a herbal nutraceutical formulation infused with the goodness of turmeric, a scientifically validated product derived from flowers offered at the Shiva Bhabutha temple. Curcumin will act as a pain reliever. In the ceremony, the 30th issue of the institute's official language magazine 'Vigyan Vani' was also released by the guests.
On this occasion, the guests also honored two employees who completed 25 years of service in the Council and 09 employees who retired in the last one year by giving mementos. On the occasion of Foundation Day, the winning children in the science essay and painting competition organized for the children of employees were also honored with prizes and certificates.
Along with this, Anika Singh, daughter of Dr. Poonam C Singh, Principal Scientist, CSIR-NBRI, was also honored for receiving CSIR Scholarship for higher studies. On this occasion, the guests also honored the winners of various competitions organized under Hindi Fortnight 2024.
Dr. Prabodh Trivedi said that CSIR. This is a day of joy for CSIR employees and others whose continuous contribution has helped CSIR. Touching new heights every day. On this occasion, while invoking the youth power, he said that youth have a big contribution in taking the country forward and they also have the maximum responsibility, hence our youth will have to work even harder.
In his address, Dr. Bhaskar Narayan, while congratulating the foundation day, described it as a day of review when we have to think whether we have given our best to the institute to achieve its goals. He asked CSIR to finger him during the country's elections. Citing the example of indelible ink developed by C.S., he said that whether you work individually or as a team, your work should be such that C.S. I.R. Can give a special identity. Keeping in mind the conclusion of Hindi Pakhwada celebrations, he talked about respecting one's mother tongue as well as other languages.
