Jaipur, 29 August (HS). State Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasara held an important meeting of the committee's division in-charge vice president, district in-charge general secretary and district Congress presidents in the war room. He interacted with Congress leaders for strengthening the organization and after receiving the report and feedback of the activities, gave important instructions to all the officials for the upcoming programs.
Addressing the meeting, Dotasara said that under the rule of Bharatiya Janata Party in the state, the common citizen is yearning for basic facilities and the state government has completely failed in providing basic necessities like deteriorating law and order situation, water, electricity, roads, medical and education. Therefore, the public is looking towards Congress with hopeful eyes for the protection of their rights. He said that it is the responsibility of the District Congress Committee to invite all the important Congress leaders, public representatives, former office bearers, former public representatives of the district to the meetings and run social activities regularly in the district by taking suggestions from everyone.
Dotasara has directed all the District Congress Committees to discuss with the District Incharges to give place to the active Congress workers of the district who are not currently office bearers in the Block, Mandal and District Executives and submit the list for approval before the State Congress Committee. He said that to give place to the active workers at the Block and Mandal level in the extended executive, the District President should discuss with the incharge officers and approve the extended executive of the Block and Mandal. He directed the District Presidents to submit the list of names to the District Incharge Officer for including the active workers at the district level in the extended executive and the incharge officer will discuss these names with all the senior leaders of the district and submit the list to the State Congress Committee and the State Congress Committee will take a decision on such a list and permission will be given to expand the executive of the District Congress Committee.
Dotasara directed the present district presidents that apart from the programmes, the meeting of the District Congress Committee must be held every three months and the information about the presence of the District Congress Committee officials in the meeting must be sent to the State Congress Committee through the in-charge officials. Dotasara said that it is necessary to hold a meeting of the Block Congress Committees every two months, similarly all the Mandal Congress Committees are required to hold a meeting once a month. He has issued instructions to all the district presidents to form booth committees of all the assembly constituencies of the district and appoint BLAs, get the list approved from the in-charge officer and present it before the District Magistrate and get the appointment done. Dotasara has directed all the Congress officials to go to their respective areas of influence to campaign for the party in the upcoming by-elections in six assembly constituencies in the state.
Dotasara said that it is necessary to make a strategy from now on to make the Congress party victorious in all the upcoming Panchayati Raj and Municipal Corporation elections in the state. Spokesperson Swarnim Chaturvedi said that on the basis of feedback received from the state in-charge officials, as per the instructions of Dotasara, appointment orders of block presidents of 15 Block Congress Committees have been issued. These include Phool Singh Gurjar for Aklera Block, Porus Sahu for Manoharthana, Hemant Kumar Sharma for Ramganj Mandi 'A', Devendra Singh for Ramganj Mandi 'B', Ravindra Parmar for Baseri, Raghuveer Singh Meena for Sarmathura, Karnaram Meghwal for Barmer City, Devraj Chaudhary for Barmer Rural, Rajiv Singh Chaudhary for Kathumar, Manager Hari Kishan Meena for Khedli, Prakash Chand Kanungo for Hawamahal, Ramcharan Meena for Todabhim, Lakshmi Dholkhedia for Ajmer South 'A', Chandan Singh for Ajmer South 'B' and Rajendra Gill for Gudha Block.
