Prayagraj, 15 February (HS). Allahabad High Court has said that fairness of competitive examination also includes following the guidelines. If the instructions are not followed completely and the computer does not check the OMR seat on subject shift basis then it is not a legal error.
The court has refused to interfere in the petitions challenging the validity of the order of the Secretary, Examination Regulatory Authority, after examining the declared result of Assistant Teacher Recruitment and declaring the new result and canceling the old result. Justice Saurabh Shyam Shamsheri has given this order while rejecting the petition of 177 candidates including Ranjit Kumar Yadav.
It is known that assistant teachers were recruited under the government order dated 19 February 21. The exam results were declared on 15 November 21. All the petitioners were declared successful, but the revised result was declared on 6 September 22. In which the petitioners were not included. Which was challenged. They said that no mistake was made in filling the OMR. This was also found in the investigation. It was said from the government side that the OMR seat has been filled wrongly. Topics are not completely filled. Due to which the computer did not check the OMR seat. The petitioners did not fill the subject correctly. Also failed to explain it. The petitioners did not follow the guidelines properly. Therefore not entitled to relief. The court said that the declared results have been scrutinized for the fairness of the examination.
