Red alert in this state including Gujarat-Maharashtra, Meteorological Department predicts heavy to very heavy rain

Weather Update: The Indian Meteorological Department has released an update on what the weather will be like across the country today. According to the IMD forecast, a red alert for rain has been issued in Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa today (July 23). Meanwhile, an orange alert has been issued for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Odisha.

According to the weather department forecast, Goa and Maharashtra are likely to receive very heavy rains till July 24. Madhya Pradesh may receive heavy rains till July 24, while Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat may receive heavy rains on July 25 and 26. Apart from this, heavy rains are expected in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha on July 23 and 24.

Heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana on July 23 and in Rajasthan on July 23 and 24. Apart from this, heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan till July 26. Heavy rain is expected in Punjab and Haryana till July 24.
