Records of more than 22 lakh cases resolved in National Lok Adalat

Raipur, 14 December (Hindus). A record of more than 22 lakh 59 thousand cases were resolved in the state of Chhattisgarh on Saturday through the National Lok Adalat.

A total award of more than Rs 842 crore was passed through the National Lok Adalat. It is noteworthy here that today on 14th December, Lok Adalats were organized from High Court to Taluka level courts as well as Revenue Courts. The Chief Justice of Bilaspur High Court conducted a virtual inspection of the division benches under the National Lok Adalat. It is noteworthy here that this was the fourth and last National Lok Adalat of this year.

Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha inspected the proceedings of Lok Adalat of Raipur and Durg and discussed with the Principal District Judges there and gave them necessary guidance to resolve as many cases as possible. This encouraged the presiding officers, members and parties of the Lok Adalat and created confidence among the parties. The credibility and authenticity of Lok Adalat has increased.

Using technology in the National Lok Adalat, where the parties could not come, cases were resolved in the Lok Adalat by connecting them through virtual medium and through mobile van.
