Record rise in Ahmedabad gold continues, new record of Rs 67,700

Mumbai: A new record was set in gold prices in Ahmedabad today as gold prices continued to rise in the global markets. In Ahmedabad gold and silver market today, the price of gold increased by Rs 200 per 10 grams from Rs 99.50 to Rs 67500 and from Rs 67700 to Rs 99.90. However, silver prices in Ahmedabad fell by Rs 500 per kg to Rs 73500.

Due to Saturday, the bullion market in Mumbai's jewelery market was officially closed today. However, in the closed market, gold prices reached a record high against the global market. There is news that the price of gold has increased further in the world market and has reached close to $ 2200 per ounce. Gold prices continued to rise in the country's jewelery markets today due to rising domestic import costs along with a rise in the global market.

However, the price of silver declined. In the global market, gold prices ended the week in the range of 2167 to 2168, 2194 to 2195 an ounce, with indications of $2178 to 2179.

Job growth in America has come down to 2 lakh 75 thousand, while the unemployment rate there has increased to 3.90 percent, which is a new high in two years. Due to this, the possibility of further reduction in interest rates has increased and due to this, funds are buying gold in the global market. Meanwhile, in the global market, silver prices ranged from $24.50 to $24.17 to $24.31 to $24.32 an ounce.

In the Mumbai bullion market today, the price of gold without GST was being quoted at Rs 99.50, Rs 65,400, Rs 65,000 and at Rs 99.90, Rs 65,250, Rs 65,650. Whereas in Mumbai the price of silver was Rs 72950 without GST and it was Rs 72300. Meanwhile, with the price of gold reaching a record level, it started being discussed in the market that now people are coming to sell the gold lying in their homes in the market.

However, there were signs that China's economy was coming out of recession. Crude oil also remained soft in the world market. Brand crude prices were at $82.50, up from $81.71 to $82.08 a barrel, while US crude prices were up at $77.56, up from $78.01 at $78.41.
