Record income from real estate registries, Jimpa said – the main goal of the government is to provide corruption free services


Chandigarh: The government treasury is increasing every year due to land and property registries in Punjab. Finance Minister Bram Shankar Zimpa has said that the Punjab government has received record income from land and property registries in the financial year 2023-24 compared to the previous three financial years. JIMPA said that the main objective of the government is to provide transparent, hassle-free and corruption-free services to the people of Punjab.

JIMPA said that till February of the financial year 2023-24, Rs 3912.67 crore has come into the treasury, while the income of the month of March is to be added to it. In the financial year 2022-23, this income was Rs 3515.27 crore, while in the financial year 2021-22, the Punjab government received an income of Rs 3299.35 crore from land and property registries.
