Jodhpur, 7 October (Hindustan Reporter). Rajasthan High Court has recommended suspension of three police inspectors of Jodhpur Commissionerate during the hearing on charges of bribe of Rs 35 lakh in an NDPS Act case. Also, considering the role of a Deputy SP as suspicious, an investigation has been ordered. The court has now fixed the next hearing in the case for October 17. While commenting verbally in the case, the court said that if there is a smuggler, will you become a dacoit and rob him? Everyone together created jungle raj. In this way people will lose faith in police and ACB.

In fact, last year, Police Officer Jitendra Singh was accused of taking bribe of Rs 35 lakh from Doda poppy smuggler. After the case was registered, investigation was conducted by ACB. After this, the High Court considered the investigation of ACB as suspicious and ordered to hand over the investigation to CBI. The court of High Court Justice Farzand Ali Khan showed strictness in this matter. It has been recommended to suspend Police Station Officer Jitendra Singh, Investigation Officer Shafiq Mohammad and another SHO Devendra Singh Deora. The role of the investigating officer of ACB in the case is also considered suspicious. The court asked the DGP to take appropriate action against all the suspects in this case including the investigating officer of ACB. The next hearing regarding this matter will be held on October 17. The court has taken the records of the investigation into its custody and issued a notice to the ACB.

On January 29 last year, Basni police had caught 2500 kg of illegal doda poppy which was loaded in a cement tanker. Then the police caught a driver Omprakash Gurjar. This tanker was going to be emptied at some place. This action took place in the evening. While investigating, the police had made father and son accused in this. Satyanarayan and his son Mukesh Sharma were made accused. The case is being heard in the High Court. Satyanarayan Sharma's bail application has been filed for bail. His son Mukesh was earlier granted bail but Satyanarayan could not get bail. During the bail hearing, Satyanarayan Bhati, through his officer Shivkumar Bhati, accused him of falsely implicating him in the arrest and case. Also told that a demand of bribe of Rs 70 lakh was made by the said police officers. It was also alleged that Rs 35 lakh was taken from him. On behalf of the advocate, the court was told that the case is completely false and has been falsely implicated. An FIR was registered by the police at 3 o'clock in the night regarding the action taken in the evening. CCTV footage related to the case was also made available to the court. After the matter came to notice, the court has now recommended the suspension of the said police inspectors and has also considered the role of the Deputy SP as suspicious and has ordered an investigation.
