Till date you must have eaten many types of pakodas. Today we have brought for you the recipe of Urad Dal Pakoda which you can easily make at home. So let us know.
Material:
2 cups white urad dal
2 onions
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
5-6 green chillies
2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp cumin powder
1 tablespoon kasuri methi
2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
cooking oil for frying
salt as per taste
Instruction:
-First of all, clean and wash urad dal thoroughly.
– Soak the pulses in water for 5-6 hours.
– After soaking the pulses, make a thick paste with the help of a mixer. – Take out the paste in a bowl.
-Whisk the lentil paste well. Chop onion and green chilli finely.
-Add chopped onion and green chilli to the urad dal paste.
– Mix well and add chopped coriander, roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, Kasuri fenugreek and ginger-garlic paste.
– Heat oil in a wok or deep pan on medium flame.
When the oil is hot, take small pieces of lentil paste and shape them into pakodas. Fry the pakodas until they turn golden brown, turning them from time to time so that they fry evenly.
– Take out the pakodas from the oil and keep them in a plate.
Serve urad dal pakodas hot with tomato sauce or green chutney.
