Potato is a vegetable which is available in the market throughout the year. Potatoes pair well with any vegetable and can be used in a variety of dishes. Material:
5 boiled potatoes
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1 teaspoon dry mango powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
Oil
salt as per taste
recipe:
First of all, boil the potatoes, peel them and cut them into small pieces.
– Keep them separate in a vessel. Now take a pan and heat oil in it on medium flame.
When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt in the pan, mix well and fry for 1 to 2 minutes.
Now add chopped potatoes to the roasted spices and let it cook for 9-10 minutes on low flame.
– While cooking, keep stirring the vegetables occasionally.
– When the potatoes become golden brown, add chopped coriander on top and turn off the flame.
-Jeera potato curry is ready. It can be served with roti, paratha or puri.
