How to make Dal Bati (Dal Bati Recipe
- Soak the chickpeas and moong dal for three hours. – Then put both the dals, turmeric, salt and water in a cooker and boil it.
- – Then take some ghee in a pan. – Then add garlic cloves, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, garlic paste, ginger-chilli paste, sweet neem, onion, turmeric, coriander, red chilli powder, tomatoes and mix. Keep mixing while mixing everything. – Now add boiled lentils and mix. Add water as required and let it boil for some time. – Then add chopped coriander leaves to it. Your Dal Baati Dal is ready.
- To make the batter, take 900 ml water. Add wheat flour, rava, ajwain to the kathroat and mix it with hands. – Then add some salt and ghee and mix. You can also add a splash of oil.
- Now add 90% water and knead the dough. Knead the dough as hard as breadcrumbs.
- Make round balls like laddu from the dough. – Then put ghee in the pan of gapgotta or appam and put it on the gas. And place this bowl in it, pour some ghee over it and cover it and let it cook for 5 minutes. Then turn it to the other place and let it cook. So your bowl is ready.
