ready to pay $243 million fine

Two Boeing 737 Max aircraft crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia within five months in 2018 and 2019, killing 346 passengers. If Boeing is found guilty in the safety fraud case, it may be at risk of receiving government orders from the US Department of Defense and NASA. However, Boeing can apply to the government for some relief in this case. In May, the Justice Department canceled the 2021 settlement related to the company's fatal accident. After this, a criminal case can also be filed against Boeing.

Many types of defects were found in the company's aircraft

Many flaws were found in the company's planes. At that time, the company was ordered to meet the families of the deceased. Boeing's operations were put under court supervision for 3 years. The court's nominated members will review Boeing's flight safety systems from time to time. It will submit its report to the government every year.
