Meanwhile, according to the information received, it has been revealed that Hamas chief Ismail Haniyya died due to an explosion. The explosive device was planted two months ago in a guest house in Tehran where Ismail Haniyya was to stay.
The report claimed that when Haniya reached his VVIP building, the blast was carried out with the help of a remote control. This information was given by several officials including two members of the Iranian army, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
A Hamas leader invested in a secret home
The report further states that the bomb was smuggled into the guest house. It is claimed that the killer Esmail followed Haniya's schedule and knew her whereabouts. According to reports, Haniya had invested in an IRGC compound named Neshahat in Tehran. Secret meetings are held in this compound where high profile guests like Haniya were kept.
The time of the accident is given in the report. The explosion took place at 2 am local time. Khalil al-Haya, a senior Hamas official, arrived at the scene after the bombing. He informed Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei about the entire incident. Ismail Haniyeh arrived in Iran to attend the presidential swearing-in ceremony.
