RDTM will be organized in Jaipur from 13 to 15 September

The Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) is striving to promote the heritage, royal palaces, unique architecture, rich heritage, majestic decorations and grand weddings of Rajasthan along with the traditional customs of the state and to get it recognized as the best wedding destination. In this connection, FHTR has to make the fourth Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) to be held at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur from 13 to 15 September 2024 a success, for which stakeholders meet was organized in various cities of Rajasthan. The theme of the fourth RDTM has been decided as 'Wedding, Incentive, Conference and Event'. There will be more than 200 stalls in RDTM 2024, where more than 600 properties will be showcased. 7-8 properties will be showcased at each stall. More than 1300 buyers and over 7000 visitors are expected to attend the mart.

During the Travel Mart, while on one hand the stalls of all the tour operators and travel planners will be set up in one hall, on the other hand, a hall will be dedicated only for wedding planners. As a result, families planning weddings in the future will not only get a chance to learn about various methods of wedding planning, but they will also be able to get information from experts in planning all the functions related to the wedding. On the other hand, under the joint aegis of FHTR and Rajasthan Tourism Department, an interactive session on the topic 'Wedding in India – Opportunity in Rajasthan' was organized at Mahua Bagh Resort in Kumbhalgarh on July 16, along with a series of questions and answers. Obviously, commendable efforts are being made by FHTR with the aim of promoting tourism in Rajasthan and developing the best destinations for tourists, which also includes getting Rajasthan recognized as the best destination wedding place as per the vision of PM Modi.

Sumita Saroch, Joint Director in the Tourism Department, said that Kumbhalgarh is emerging as a wedding destination, people are liking to come here for holidays and weddings. All the projects coming in Rajasthan will be requested not to tamper with the natural beauty of the state. Also, the hotel association here should maintain its existence and keep trying to give the best experience to the visitors, only this will make the vision of the government a reality.
