RCB can qualify even after losing to MI, know the equation

WPL 2024 is going through very exciting moments. Gujarat Giants have made the qualification race even more exciting by defeating UP Warriors in the 18th match of this tournament. Had UP won this match, it would have easily qualified with 4 wins out of 8. But with Gujarat's victory, the points table has become even more complicated. The situation is that only 2 matches of WPL are left, while all three teams RCB, GG and UP have a chance to qualify. The 19th match of the tournament will be played between RCB and Mumbai this evening. If RCB wants to qualify, then one of two conditions will have to be fulfilled in today's match.

Today's match will answer many questions

This exciting match between RCB and Mumbai will be played from 7.30 pm. This match is going to be held at Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. Fans are very excited about this. Today's match is going to answer many questions. 2 teams have already qualified for WPL 2024. Delhi and Mumbai are at first and second position respectively in the points table. There is a race between UP, GG and RCB to qualify for the third place. RCB has a great chance to reach the playoffs. But for this RCB will have to fulfill these 2 conditions.

How will RCB reach the playoffs?

If RCB is successful in defeating Mumbai in the 19th match of WPL, then it will easily qualify. RCB is currently at third position in the points table. They will qualify by defeating Mumbai and finishing third. On the other hand, RCB can qualify even if they lose the match against Mumbai. The condition for this is that RCB will not lose against Mumbai by 60 or more runs. In such a situation, even after losing to Mumbai, it will remain above UP in the points table. However, if RCB loses to Mumbai then the qualification will depend on tomorrow's match. In case of RCB's defeat, the chances of qualification of Gujarat, RCB and UP will remain intact.

How will Gujarat reach the playoffs??

After RCB's defeat by over 60 runs against Mumbai, if Gujarat beats Delhi by at least 57 runs in tomorrow's match, they will go above UP in the points table and qualify. Apart from this, if Delhi wins this match then UP will qualify.
