RBI issued circular for card companies, now customers will be able to choose more than one card network; Know when you can get its benefit

New Delhi: This morning the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a circular. According to this circular, now the card issuer i.e. any card manufacturing company will not enter into any agreement or deal with any card network which prevents the user from availing the services of other card networks.

This means that now the card issuing company will give the customer the opportunity to choose more than one card network. This service will be available to the customer at the time of next renewal.
