RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das’s health worsens, admitted to Chennai hospital

Chennai/New Delhi, 26 November (HS). Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai due to his ill health. At present his condition is fine.

RBI spokesperson said in a statement issued on Tuesday that the RBI Governor complained of acidity, due to which he has been admitted to Apollo Hospital in Chennai for observation. Now his condition is fine, he will be discharged in the next 2-3 hours. There is nothing to worry about.

It is noteworthy that only last month, RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das was elected the world’s top central banker for the second consecutive year. Governor Shaktikanta Das once again got A+ grade in the Central Bank Report Card 2024. This award was given to Governor Das by Global Finance in Washington DC, America.
