Ravichandran Ashwin: Don't be surprised if Ravichandran Ashwin plays for Chennai Super Kings i.e. CSK in IPL 2025, as R Ashwin has joined India Cements again. CSK's High Performance Center is being built on the outskirts of the city and is expected to be fully operational before the start of the next IPL season.
According to the report, this transfer move means that there is a strong possibility that Ashwin might rejoin CSK in the mega auction later this year. This is the big player auction, so the chances of bargaining between CSK and Rajasthan Royals are over, as Rajasthan Royals might not be able to retain Ashwin. The reason behind this is that only 3+1 players are allowed to be retained, in which one player can include himself through RTM.
If CSK is unable to buy Ashwin in the auction, then their only option is to trade him after the player auction.
