Rani Mukherjee is a talented actress of Bollywood. She recently commented in detail while attending an event in Mumbai on how her husband Aditya Chopra defended his films without falling into the trap of OTT platforms during the Corona period.
Rani said, “These some big budget films of Aditya were ready for release during Covid. Unfortunately, Covid arrived and the release of all these films was put under question. At that time there was no discussion about the performance of films. At that time, there was pressure on many filmmakers to release the film on the OTT platform and many producers were also taking such steps.
Rani further said, “My husband believed that all these films were made for the big screen so that people could come together and enjoy them. So they decided to release the film directly in theatres. Many people offered him a lot of money to release the film on OTT so that both of them would benefit but he did not do so.”
