Champawat, 12 April (HS). In order to ensure peaceful and fair conduct of the Lok Sabha elections, in the presence of General Observer Satyapal, the second randomization process of micro observers appointed for both the assemblies of Champawat district and the third randomization process of polling personnel was completed.
Under the second randomization of micro observers, micro observers were deployed for 38 booths and 8 micro observers were kept in reserve. Out of total 38 polling centres, micro observers were deployed in 18 centers of Lohaghat assembly and 20 centers of Champawat assembly and 4 micro observers each were kept in reserve.
In the third randomization of polling personnel, along with allotment of booths of both the assemblies of the district, deployment orders were taken out and kept safe in the double lock of the treasury. 377 polling parties including reserves have been formed for the Lok Sabha elections. In each polling party, there are a total of four polling personnel including one presiding officer and polling officer first, second and third. A total of 377 polling parties including reserves have been formed in the district.
In which polling parties have been formed for a total of 344 booths in the district. In which polling parties have been formed for 185 booths in Lohaghat Assembly and 159 booths in Champawat Assembly. 33 polling parties have been kept in reserve, out of which 18 have been reserved for Lohaghat and 15 polling parties have been kept in reserve for Champawat. Apart from this, two Sakhi booths and two disabled booths have been made in the district. Two polling parties have also been kept in reserve for the Sakhi booth.
During the randomization, dispatcher, Police Shivkumar Verma, District Magistrate Navneet Pandey, Nodal Personnel Chief Development Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh, Additional District Magistrate Officer Hemant Kumar Verma and others were present.
