News India Live, Digital Desk: South Eastern Railway (SER) has given big relief to the passengers going home on Holi. The operation of these trains running from Ranchi and Hatia stations will start from the end of February and will continue till the end of March.

Main features of trains
Additional Coach: Most of the special trains will have 18 to 22 coaches, in which the number of sleeper and AC-3 tier has been kept more.
Crowd control: Due to the waiting list crossing 100 in regular trains like Ranchi Rajdhani and Jharkhand Sampark Kranti, these 10 trains have been added as ‘Festival Special’.
Route selection: These trains are being run on those routes where most of the migrants of Bihari and UP origin return to their villages from Ranchi during Holi.
Important information for passengers
Booking: Booking for all these special trains has started on IRCTC website and counter.
Focus of time: Timings of ‘Special’ category trains are subject to last minute change, so please check the status on ‘National Train Inquiry System’ (NTES) before travelling.
Waiting List: If tickets are not available in regular trains, chances of getting a confirmed seat in these 0-series trains (like 08629) are higher.
