Mumbai: The shooting of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi's 'Ramayana' has started. But, now this film is stuck in copyright dispute. Producer Madhu Mantena, who has left the project, has warned through a public notice that the rights of the film will remain with him and will not be transferred as the payment is still pending. Madhu Mantena left the project due to a dispute over the film's budget. After this, producers including Namit Malhotra and Prime Fox are taking the project forward. It is said that 'KGF' series star Yash is also a co-producer in this project. Madhu Mantena has given notice that an agreement has been reached with Prine Fox regarding the script and other material of Ramayana. But payment has not been made yet as per this agreement. According to the ongoing discussion in the Bollywood corridors, it is now expected that Yash, as a co-producer, will find a solution to this dispute.
The shooting of the film has started.
Ranbir and other actors including Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol have also been announced, so there is no way to back out from this project.
