Uttar Pradesh News: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday issued an ominous warning to criminals, saying 'Ram Naam Satya' (last rites) is certain for those who pose a threat to women and businessmen in the state.

“Nobody ever thought that daughters and businessmen could go out at night without any worries. We ensure 'Ram Naam Satya' (last rites) for the threat to the safety of daughters and businessmen,” Adityanath said while addressing a massive election rally in Aligarh for BJP's Lok Sabha candidate Satish Kumar Gautam.

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, who is known for his tough stance against crime and mafia in the state, said, “We live our lives chanting the name of Lord Ram. Nothing is possible without Ram. But when someone creates a threat to the security of the society, 'Ram Naam Satya' is also certain.

Anarchy, corruption were rampant in India before BJP came to power

Adityanath claimed that Uttar Pradesh as well as the country was sinking into the depths of anarchy before the BJP came to power under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi a decade ago.

“What was a dream 10 years ago is now becoming a reality, and it is because of the value of your vote. One wrong vote would have taken the country into the pit of corruption. Earlier there was anarchy, curfew and anarchy. Our daughters, our youth were in danger,” Yogi Adityanath said.

The Chief Minister praised PM Modi for building infrastructure across the country and guaranteeing the future of the citizens.

“By voting for Modi you have assured and secured your future. So much infrastructure, be it world-class structures, highways, airports, defense corridors, medical colleges or universities, everything is being built,” Adityanath said.

'Modi government for the third time'

The UP CM said that people have already decided to bring Prime Minister Narendra Modi back to power for the third consecutive time.

“For the first time, while the election process is going on, people are already confident about the result. They have already decided that there will be a Modi government for the third time.” He said that India will become the world's third largest economy within the first three years of Modi's third term.

Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, which sends the maximum 80 MPs to Parliament, will be held in all seven phases from April 19 to June 1, 2024.

Counting of votes for the country's 543 Lok Sabha seats will take place on June 4 and the results will be declared on the same day.
