Ramgarh DC held a meeting with political parties, taught code of conduct lesson

Ramgarh, 16 October (Hindustanism). After the announcement of Jharkhand Assembly elections, DC Chandan Kumar held a necessary meeting with political parties on Wednesday. During this, representatives of political parties were taught the code of conduct.

DC Chandan Kumar said that after the issuance of the notification, the Model Code of Conduct has become effective. He gave information about Barkagaon, Ramgarh and Mandu assembly constituencies in Ramgarh district. Also gave information about the work done under paid news monitoring, expenditure monitoring etc.

Deputy Election Officer Ravindra Kumar Gupta explained in detail to the representatives of all political parties the do's and what not to do during the Model Code of Conduct through PPT. He was told that now he would not be able to put any party flag or banner in his vehicle without the permission of the RO. Use of loudspeakers in vehicles and meetings will be allowed only from 6 am to 10 pm.

It was told that no government employee can participate in political activity during election time. If this happens then it will also be considered a violation of the code of conduct and strict action will be taken. The use of official vehicles by ministers for political purposes has been banned. Use of loudspeaker without permission is prohibited under any circumstances. Also, for any procession or rally, it is mandatory to decide the place, time and route in advance and take permission from the police administration. No procession or rally will be allowed without prior notice.

Apart from this, no election meeting, conferencing, any objectionable work or any campaigning will be allowed within the 200 meter radius of the polling stations. Liquor will not be distributed during elections. During nomination, only 3 vehicles will be allowed within 200 meters of the RO's office. Official work will not be mixed with campaigning work. Giving any kind of inducement to voters, whether financial or otherwise, is prohibited.

Not only this, no caste or communal appeal will be made by the elector. No one will be criticized on the basis of unverified allegations and distortions by other parties and their workers. No religious place will be used for election campaigning.
