Ramgarh, 2 August (HS). Ramgarh district was the winner of the 22nd regional police duty meet held in the district. Hazaribagh Range DIG Sunil Bhaskar, as the chief guest, felicitated the Ramgarh district team by presenting them the trophy at the closing ceremony of the police duty meet on Friday. On this occasion, the DIG also felicitated the runner-up Hazaribagh district team.
During this, DIG Sunil Bhaskar said that the North Chotanagpur level Police Duty Meet is a very good platform. Here police officers advance their knowledge. Also, they discuss all the points that are useful in crime investigation. There are many subjects for which exams are conducted and candidates who perform well in them are awarded. The winners of the Police Duty Meet organized at the divisional level are made to participate in the state level Police Duty Meet, so that they can learn something better there as well.
Emphasis was on National Automatic Fingerprints Identification System
In the Police Duty Meet, a lot of emphasis was laid on the National Automatic Fingerprints Identification System. DIG Sunil Bhaskar said that fingerprints of criminals, convicted prisoners and chargesheeted criminals are being taken at the national level. The officials involved in the Police Duty Meet have also been informed about this. This is a system in which a database is being created at the national level. Whenever a criminal is arrested in the whole of India, as soon as his fingerprints are entered in the database, the information about his criminal history will be available to the police. The type of crime committed by him at any place in the whole country will be known in an instant.

During the closing ceremony, SP Ajay Kumar congratulated all the officers participating in the Police Duty Meet for their excellent performance. He said that the police officers have learned new techniques on all subjects of scientific investigation, dog squad, fingerprint and crime investigation. If they want to punish the people involved in any crime, then using this technique will prove helpful for them. It is very important to collect evidence from the crime scene. In this, the forensic team and its knowledge help the police officer a lot.
