Ranchi, July 11 (HS). BJP's state spokesperson Ramakant Mahato has countered the statement of JMM's central general secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya and said that JMM is scared of the upcoming assembly elections. This is the reason why JMM, intoxicated with power, is issuing orders to the country's constitutional institution, the Election Commission. Along with this, it is threatening to face consequences through agitation if the orders are not followed.
Ramakant Mahato issued a statement on Thursday saying that defaming the constitutional institutions of the country and threatening them in a commanding manner has been in the DNA of JMM. BJP spokesperson Ramakant Mahato said that JMM General Secretary Supriyo Bhattacharya's memory may have weakened.
He said that as soon as the state Chief Minister Hemant Soren came out of jail on bail, he was boasting that once the elections are held in the state, we are not going to be afraid, then today JMM has started feeling afraid even before the announcement of elections.
Mahato has alleged that the people will now oust the Hemant government which has been busy looting the state for four and a half years. Out of fear, they have started pointing fingers at constitutional institutions. Not even one of the election promises with which the Hemant Soren government came to power has been fulfilled till date. Instead of providing employment to unemployed youths, this government leaked the papers and suppressed the participants and sold jobs. He said that it is the prerogative of the Election Commission to conduct elections within six months of the stipulated time. Now JMM considers it a conspiracy and wants to loot the state till the last day.
