There are assembly elections in Haryana and just five days before the voting, Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is going to be released from jail once again. The Election Commission on Monday 30 September approved the parole of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim. However, the Commission has imposed 3 conditions. Ram Rahim will come out of Rohtak's Sunaria jail today (October 1).
According to the conditions, Gurmeet will not stay in Haryana after coming out of jail. He will not be a part of any political activity. They will not be able to campaign on social media. Gurmeet had asked for emergency parole for 20 days. Gurmeet had said in the application given to the jail department that he would live in Barnawa Ashram in UP. Ram Rahim has got parole or furlough about 11 times in 4 years.
Election Commission sources say that the Haryana government has been told that if Ram Rahim violates the election code of conduct or conditions, the parole will be canceled immediately. Gurmeet is lodged in Sunaria jail of Rohtak district. He surrendered in jail on September 2 after completing 21 days leave.
