Kanpur, 28 August (HS). Bharatiya Janata Party is going to run a membership campaign from September 2, the responsibility of which is being given to the office bearers. On Wednesday, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Kanpur Bundelkhand regional president Prakash Pal. In the meeting, Ram Kishor Sahu was given the responsibility of regional membership coordinator. Workshops will also be organized in all the districts from August 31.

In a meeting held on Wednesday with the office bearers of Bharatiya Janata Party Kanpur Bundelkhand region and the newly appointed regional team of membership campaign, regional president Prakash Pal said that on August 31, workshops will be organized for membership campaign at 20845 booths of all 17 districts. In which the booth committee as well as the booth membership head and all the senior officers residing at the booth will participate. The Mandal level officer will address the booth workshops. The regional president said that on September 2, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda will make the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi join the Bharatiya Janata Party. On September 3, BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary will make Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath join. Similarly, on September 5, all the public representatives and district presidents of BJP Kanpur Bundelkhand region will take membership. After this, every worker of Bharatiya Janata Party will take membership which will run as the first phase till September 25. During this, the regional president appointed regional general secretary Ram Kishore Sahu as the membership coordinator of BJP Kanpur Bundelkhand region. Along with him, regional vice president Anil Yadav and regional coordinator of national membership campaign Anil Dixit will work as co-coordinators. During this, regional general secretary Poonam Dwivedi, Pawan Pratap Singh, Harsh Dwivedi, Rajan Saxena, media in-charge Anup Awasthi etc. were present.
