Ram Kapoor’s biggest revelation: ‘I helped plan my father’s death, today my mother and sister don’t talk to me’

Father had cancer again during Covid, sought help

While talking on the show, Ram Kapoor told that his father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the age of 63. However, after 18 long sessions of chemotherapy, he recovered and lived a good life till the age of 73. But after this, during the Corona epidemic and lockdown, his father was once again affected by cancer. At that time, Ram’s father was in Singapore and he had called his daughter-in-law i.e. Gautami Kapoor and expressed his desire to talk to Ram. Ram told that his father had completely decided that he had to leave this world now because illness and pain had broken him.

‘Can you help me die?’ Ram’s shocking statement

Ram Kapoor further told in very painful words that his father had clearly told him, ‘Can you help me die?’ The actor said that his first reaction after hearing this was to be surprised and deny it, like any normal son. But his father completely convinced him that if Ram did not support him, he would have to leave this world alone. Seeing his father’s stubbornness and pain, Ram decided to get admitted with him in the hospital. He told that both of them stayed together in the ICU and no one knew that no medical treatment was going on there, rather he was only with his father in his last moments.

Mother and sister do not talk even today, there is sourness since last 5 years

Describing the serious consequences of his decision, Ram Kapoor revealed that his mother and sister are very angry with him after this incident. Ram told with teary eyes that his mother and sister do not talk to him till date and it has been more than 5 years since this happened. He said that the family members took it emotionally, but they did what a son should have done to fulfill his father’s last wish. Ram finally said that his father had lived a life like a king and he left this world like a king, after which he himself is no longer afraid of death.
