Ayodhya, 22 April (HS). 90 devotees from 30 countries arrived on Monday to have darshan of Shri Ramlala. The devotees were led by Dr. Vijay Jolly, Brand Ambassador of Global India and President of Delhi Study Group and former MLA. All the devotees were welcomed by giving Ramnami Angavastra and applying sandalwood tilak on their forehead.
Earlier last evening, all the devotees had participated in the Aarti at Saryu Ghat. This group reached Hanuman Garhi temple and took blessings of Ram devotee Bajrangbali. On Monday, everyone sat in Shri Ram temple and recited Hanuman Chalisa collectively. During this time, a group of 400 devotees of NRIs had darshan of Ramlala.
Prominent among those who reached Ayodhya were Bhutanese Ambassador Major General Vetsop Namgyal, Counselor Dorjik Kinzang, Republic of China (Taiwan) representative Miss Tsai Jen Chun, Romania Consul General in India Vijay Mehta and Tuvalu Consul General Dr. Deepak Jain and members of the Tibetan Parliament in exile. Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenfel was present. On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, elaborate arrangements were made for the security of the guests.
NRIs visiting include Australia, Brunei, Bhutan, Canada, Colombia, Cambodia, Georgia, Guyana, Kenya, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mozambique, Macau, Nigeria, Nepal, Norway, Romania, Rwanda, Spain, Singapore, Sint Maarten, China. Representatives from countries like Republic of Taiwan, Tajikistan, Trinidad and Tobago, Tuvalu, Tibet, Uganda, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, United States of America etc. were present. Everyone's food was arranged by social worker Gopal Garg of Delhi. It is noteworthy that on April 23 last year, on the initiative of Dr. Jolly, the Ram temple was consecrated with water from rivers and seas from 156 countries and 7 continents.
On the occasion, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Champat Rai, All India Contact Head of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Ramlal, Patron of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Dinesh, Uzbekistan businessman Ashok K. Tiwari (Pravasi Bharatiya Samman honouree), Bhupendra Kansal (General Secretary Himalaya Parivar) were specially present.
