Haridwar, 05 July (HS). In the meeting of the Regional Dharamshala Managing Committee held at Harbhajan Dham in North Haridwar, condolences were expressed on the demise of the committee's president Gopal Singhal and tribute was paid to him. In the meeting conducted by the committee's general secretary Awadhesh Kumar, Ram Avtar Sharma was unanimously selected for the post of president which fell vacant due to the death of Gopal Singhal.
Joint General Secretary Shyam Sundar Sharma and Vice President Rakesh Mishra said that Ram Avsar Sharma has played a leading role in fighting for the interests of Dharamshalas and has contributed. His becoming the President of the Regional Dharamshala Managing Committee will infuse new energy in the committee.
The newly appointed president Ram Avtar Sharma thanked everyone and said that he will fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him with full devotion and will fight for the interests of the committee with everyone's support. He said that from Bhupatwala to the entire northern Haridwar, people from many states are building Dharamshalas. We will meet all of them and work to include them in the Dharamshala Management Committee.
