Only after this will there be any change in the sports policy of the state. Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore gave this information in Jaipur on Thursday.
Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore said that change is the rule of life. How much change will be made in the Sports Act or not. This will be known only at the right time. But I want to tell that whatever work the government will do. It will be completed in collaboration with all the organizations. The draft of amendment in the Sports Act will be prepared only after discussion with the sports association and players. It will be implemented only after discussion. He said that anyway the interest of sports and players should come first. Keeping this in mind, the government is working on its policies.
Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also expressed displeasure over the functioning of the ad hoc committee formed by dissolving the executive of the Rajasthan Cricket Association. He said that the election process of the Rajasthan Cricket Association should have started by now. The ad hoc committee was asked to answer why there was a delay in it. On which they replied and gave some reasons for the delay in the election. At present, I do not know those reasons. But whatever the reasons are, the final decision will be taken after deliberation and contemplation on it.
The government had dissolved the executive committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association in February and formed a five-member ad hoc committee for 90 days. It was supposed to announce the election process within its 90-day tenure, but the five-member ad hoc committee led by BJP MLA Jaideep Bihani has not been able to do this work in its entire tenure. In such a situation, the government can also extend the time period of the ad hoc committee by changing the members of the ad hoc committee. So that the old executive committee of Rajasthan Cricket Association does not come to power again and the elections of Rajasthan Cricket Association can be organized.
