Rajkumar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor recently appeared in the latest episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Show'. They promoted their film 'Mr. and Mrs. Mahi'. During the conversation, Rajkumar Rao talked about his struggling days. He told how he was promised a break in TV by taking Rs 10,000. But the very next day after taking the money, his entire office disappeared. Rajkumar said, this was very filmy for him, because he had never seen this happen in reality. The actor says that he used to cycle from Gurgaon to Delhi every day. Rajkumar says that he did not know the difference between TV and films. He just wanted to act, he had read about a show coming on Zee TV in the newspaper. Seeing the advertisement in the newspaper, Rajkumar called the given number. He called the actor for a meeting. Rajkumar's mother had borrowed money from someone to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. While telling the whole story, he said that the office was very simple in appearance. The person sitting there had pictures from Gulshan Grover to Raza Murad. Rajkumar thought he knew them all. The man told Rajkumar that he would have to pay Rs 10,000 for the photo shoot. His mother borrowed money from someone and Rajkumar gave the same money to the man. Within a few days, the actor got a call and was told that he has been selected for TV. The actor was very happy to hear this. He thought that he has achieved something big in life and now everything will be fine but they ran away with my money.
