The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Rajasthan. Due to which it is raining heavily in Jaipur since this morning. The roads of the city are submerged. The cars parked on the road have drowned in the water.
Due to the rain in Jaipur since morning, rivers started flowing on the roads. Due to which the entire city got flooded. The roads became rivers. The entire pink city has turned into a river due to three to four feet of water filling the main roads of the city.
Traffic jam scenes were created in the Pink City
Due to the rain, there was a huge traffic jam at many places. Thousands of people became helpless due to two-wheelers and heavy vehicles getting stuck in the rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in Jaipur today. Heavy rain warning has been issued in many districts including Jaipur.
Rain in Jaipur since morning
According to the weather department forecast, it has been raining since morning in many areas including Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota and Alwar. The rain is getting heavier and heavier. The roads are flooded. The speed of rain has increased in Jaipur so far. By now the rain had become heavy. After this, due to continuous rain, the roads of the pink city started getting flooded. Due to rain, various main roads including Sikar Road turned into rivers. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for rain for Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk districts.
Due to waterlogging on the roads, parked vehicles got stuck in the water
Due to Independence Day, the crowd was less than other days. Due to holiday in all offices and schools, the movement of vehicles on the roads was less. Due to which the pedestrians got some relief. But due to waterlogging on the roads, the vehicles got stuck in the water. Due to heavy flow on the roads, traffic is stopped at many places.

At many places on the city walls, water filled up to three to four feet. Low lying areas were inundated. Traffic was stopped there as water filled under the underpass. A drain also overflowed near Madho Vilas in Brahmapuri. Due to the rain, people remained confined to their homes and shops.
