Jaipur, 14 August (HS). On the eve of Independence Day, the Central Police Band of Rajasthan Police, Hadi Rani Mahila Battalion Pipe Police Band, 13th Battalion Band, Jaipur Police Commissionerate Band and the band players of the 4th and 5th Battalions of RAC enthralled the people present at the Amar Jawan Jyoti on Janpath by spreading the wave of patriotism in their collective performances.
The band players enthralled the audience with their attractive renditions of patriotic songs like 'Jai ho…', 'Kadam kadam badhaye ja, Khushi ke geet gaaye ja, Yeh zindagi hai kaum ki tu kaum par lutaye ja…' and infused the flavour of patriotism in the atmosphere. Dressed in attractive uniforms, this group of band players of Rajasthan Police left an indelible mark with their performances with discipline and rhythm. In this patriotic atmosphere, the gentle drizzle of rain also increased the enthusiasm of the people of Jaipur and made the atmosphere pleasant.
Present at the programme were Director General of Police Utkal Ranjan Sahu, along with senior police officers of ADG and IG rank from the Police Headquarters, who encouraged the band playing policemen. The band players' performances also received a lot of applause from the common people and dignitaries.
