Jaipur, 5 November (Hindustan Reporter). Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani reached Sydney (Australia) on Tuesday during his visit to four countries. Devnani was welcomed by the officials on his arrival in Sydney. Devnani participated in the delegate briefing of the 67th Conference of the Nations Parliamentary Association of India Region held in Sydney. Devnani met the Legislative Assembly Speakers and MPs from various states of India including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu present in the conference.
On this occasion, Devnani said that Rajasthan state has a unique identity for its rich heritage, traditions and natural beauty. The palaces of Jaipur, the lakes of Udaipur and the grand forts of Jodhpur, Bikaner and Jaisalmer are favorite places for domestic and foreign tourists. Thousands of tourists come every day to visit the famous tourist places of the state. During this study tour, Devnani will visit the legislative bodies of different countries and discuss with the parliamentary representatives on various topics related to the strengthening of democratic values.
It is noteworthy that in this conference organized every year, the Speakers of Legislative Assemblies of different states gather on one platform and communicate on various topics for democratic systems. This time the conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association is being held in Australia from 5th to 8th November. This is the 67th conference of the Parliamentary Association. Special Secretary of the Legislative Assembly Bharat Bhushan Sharma has also accompanied Speaker Devnani to participate in the conference.
