Now smart cards will be banned. From today, drivers in Rajasthan will be able to show e-license and e-RC to traffic officials. The special thing is that now the drivers in the state will not have to pay Rs 200 for the smart card. Drivers will now be able to store their documents through mobile link.
With this, Rajasthan has now become the second state in the country after Himachal Pradesh to provide e-transport services. This step of the Transport Department will provide relief to the common people of the state. People will not have to wait for hours in long queues at the transport office.
