A Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas crashed near Jawahar Colony in Jaisalmer city in the afternoon. As soon as information about the accident was received, police and administration reached the spot. PM Narendra Modi has arrived in Jaisalmer today to observe the military exercise at the field firing range. Both the pilots are now said to be safe. The helicopter that crashed was Tejas. The Air Force has ordered a court of inquiry.
