The entire railway station was flooded with water
Here, some low-lying areas of Uttarakhand are submerged, while there is a constant danger on the high mountains. Haldwani Gaula river has crossed all the boundaries and reached the railway station. Here the entire railway station is submerged in water. The operation of trains has been badly affected due to waterlogging at the station. At the same time, due to heavy rains, some trains have been canceled and the routes of some trains have been changed.
It has been raining continuously for the last 72 hours in Kumaon region. On one hand, rivers are overflowing in the mountains and on the other hand, they have turned into lakes in the plains. Lalkuan railway station adjacent to Haldwani was filled with so much water that the operation of trains had to be stopped here. Gaula river is also flowing from Haldwani railway station. Due to which platform number 2 has come in danger.
Trains arriving at Haldwani and Kathgodam were stopped at Pantnagar
It has been decided to run trains running from Kathgodam, Haldwani and Lalkuan from Pantnagar station for now. Trains reaching Haldwani and Kathgodam via Lalkuan are being stopped at Pantnagar and Rudrapur stations. 4 platforms of Lalkua station are filled with rain water, due to which trains have been stopped here.

According to Haldwani Station Superintendent Chayan Rai, Sampark Kranti running from Kathgodam and returning from Delhi was cancelled on Monday. Apart from this, Shatabdi Express coming from New Delhi to Kathgodam has also been stopped at Rudrapur station. Along with this, Bagh Express coming from Howrah has been stopped at Rudrapur City Station. Railway and disaster management officials are constantly monitoring this serious and critical situation.
