Weather Update: The first week of April is not even over yet and the heat has started showing its wrath. Dry weather conditions have persisted for a long time in large parts of the country. Due to which the level of mercury has increased much more than normal. Parts of the southern, central and eastern states are in the grip of extreme heat. Heat wave conditions are likely to continue in some areas of these areas for the next 2-3 days. However, Delhiites have got some respite from the heat. Delhi climate

There has been movement of clouds in Delhi for the last several days. Today i.e. on 5th April also there will be partly cloudy sky in Delhi. At the same time, there is a possibility of drizzle along with strong winds. Talking about temperature, today the minimum temperature in Delhi was measured at 19 degrees and the maximum temperature could be 36 degrees Celsius. Strong surface winds are likely to prevail during the day in Delhi over the weekend also. This will keep the weather mild.

Uttar Pradesh weather

The weather patterns are also being seen in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. The sky will be clear in Lucknow today. Today the minimum temperature here can go up to 21 degrees and the maximum temperature can go up to 37 degrees. However, the temperature may drop by one point in the next two days.

Rain alert in many states

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain is possible over Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland and isolated rain over Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. At the same time, there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in the western Himalayan region. Light rain is possible in Kerala.

Heat wave will haunt these states

Apart from this, light rain and thundershowers may occur in some parts of north-western and western Rajasthan. Heat wave conditions are possible in isolated areas of North Interior Karnataka, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
