Bhopal, 19 October (HS). Monsoon has returned from Madhya Pradesh, but due to the activity of the system, rains continue in many districts. It is raining especially in the southern districts. During the last 24 hours, there was light rain in Barwani, Khandwa, Betul, Burhanpur, Seoni, Mandla and Pandhurna. Similar weather conditions may prevail if the system remains active for two days. It rained in Chhindwara, Dhar, Khandwa and Balaghat on Friday. There is a possibility of rain in 12 districts of Indore, Jabalpur and Narmadapuram divisions today on Saturday also.
According to the Meteorological Department, the trough is active over the middle-east Arabian Sea, which will turn into a low pressure area. It is close to the southern part of Madhya Pradesh. This is why it is raining. In the next 24 hours, there may be thunderstorms and light rain in Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat. Whereas the weather will remain clear in many districts including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior, Jabalpur. It will be sunny here. At the same time, on October 20, thunderstorm conditions will prevail in Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Indore, Khargone, Khandwa, Harda, Burhanpur, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat. Earlier on Friday, there was heavy rain in Chhindwara. Light rain occurred in Dhar, Khandwa and Malajkhand of Balaghat.
The effect of pink cold has also started amid rain in the districts of southern parts of the state. The day temperature in hill station Pachmarhi on Friday was 28.6 degrees, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.4 degrees. The maximum temperature in Betul was 29.5 degrees. Talking about big cities, on Friday the day temperature was 32.8 degrees in Bhopal, 32.6 degrees in Jabalpur, 31.5 degrees in Indore, 36.5 degrees in Gwalior and 32.4 degrees in Ujjain.
